  So many empty booths. But still had to wait for 30 min. Need new hostess and manager if this is what they call good service.

  I have a shellfish allergy that WILL cause anaphylactic shock if I eat it. I obviously don't eat at seafood restaurants, but I have eaten at places like Applebee's for years. When eating out, I have to watch for cross contamination of cooking my food after shellfish was cooked on it. Most, non seafood (and SOME seafood) restaurants (even fast food) have one fryer and one grill just for people with allergies OR they cook seafood in just one fryer and grill as to not cross contaminate. I know this because I have dealt with my allergy when eating out for years AND I have worked in a restaurant that had shrimp on the menu. I just tell the waiter that I have a severe allergy to shrimp and shellfish and to please cook my food on a surface that has not had shellfish on it. I usually have to avoid fried food, but can at least have grilled foods at any place. Applebee's has always been a favorite until I went to this location. #1 there were plenty of seating and we had to wait 20 minutes just to get a seat. #2 the waiter told me that everything on the menu was either fried or grilled along with shrimp and I was stuck with a plain salad or just some tomato soup. Even the manager said she could clean of a small spot on the grill, but could not guarantee I would be ok. I was very hungry after a long moving day, but they urged that I just have a salad and let my husband eat a large meal in front of me. We left and went to Buffalo Wild Wings who made SURE I was safe to eat there (they too fry shrimp). I ate fried food from there and a burger and was fine because they make sure no shellfish is cooked with other foods just for that reason. Applebee's and other places should take note.
