  The best food we had in St. Augustine! Such a cool atmosphere overlooking the Tolomato River. The outdoor deck is built right around and beneath decades old trees and was lit perfectly to create a wonderfully romantic ambiance. The service was prompt and attentive. We were there for dinner on Super Bowl Sunday, so the place was basically deserted, but I imagine it's rocking on Friday and Saturday nights in the summer. Cap's felt like a really local place as the staff seemed to know everyone by name and customers were always stopping by to chat with other tables.
  
  The food was outrageously good. My wife had the vanilla grouper which she loved and I had the crusted catch of the day which was also grouper and was really fantastic. Mine was served over mashed potatoes and asparagus which were perfectly prepared. We had the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh and well-presented. It made for a really wonderful evening out.
  
  Our bill was right at $80 for two entrees, one dessert, and a couple of beers, but we would have happily paid much more for food this good. If you're in the St. Augustine area for dinner, Cap's on the Water is a must!

  Don't leave St. Augustine without eating here! AWESOME food. The Honey Rosemary Salmon is fantastic. Great place for dinner as there is a perfect sunset view.

  Awesome food. Great service. Will make it a must on any trip to St. Augustine. Giorgio's is the best server I have had in many years. Great place and great people.

  We love coming here for date night, very romantic atmosphere with the old trees strung with white lights. It's very beautiful. Great food and friendly staff.
